Salafi Jihadi Leader: We Will Attack the Brotherhood if they Fail to Apply Sharia

-

He noted that if peaceful strikes and demonstrations would lead to this application, then they should do so.

“For the sake of Sharia, we should not get caught up in disputes among Salafis, as the differences between us are simple and they are our public patrons,” Zawahri added.

“What gains are there if I fight them (other Salafists) when they are my real ammunition and backup, when some of them are after the same goals we are?” he pondered. “Is it logical to make an enemy of them, when our real enemies are the ‘secularists’ who are trying to be rid of us?”

Another leader Daoud Khairat demanded the formation of many entities that convey the ways of Salafi Jihad and be its advocacy symbols. He also called for the establishment of secondary and tertiary waves of its members, warning Jihadis about dealing with the other Islamic groups on individual basis or without entities.

Khairat emphasized the importance of material and moral grounds, such as planning, management, media and an economic focus, as well as security, as these are the foundations for “empowerment.”

“We disassociate ourselves from all (political) parties, in front of Allah, as they were not formed on religious foundations,” he said. He pointed out that these parties want to isolate (the salafists) from the community whose plans, if successful, would definitely lead to establishing an Islamic caliphate.

“Jihad is our duty if Infidels ever attack Muslim countries, from Andalusia to Israel, and we must stand up to tyrant rulers whenever ready.
