Rally in Front of the White House on Tuesday, February 24

To commemorate our Coptic martyrs in Libya, “Coptic Solidarity” is organizing a rally in front of the White House, to be followed by a march to the Congress, on Tuesday, February 24th from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM

Presence of the Media is expected.

The objectives of the Rally:

1. Honor our martyrs in Libya.

2. Declare the rejection of Jihadi terrorism and those who stand behind it.

3. Support Egypt and its army in the war against terrorism, inside and outside Egypt.

4. Call to open a safe corridor for the return of Egyptians trapped in Libya, under the auspices of the United Nations and the International Red Cross.

Egyptians across the United States, Muslims and Christians, are invited to show their solidarity in the current painful ordeal, and to highlight that Egyptians stand together against terrorism.

Friends and supporters of the human rights cause and stand against terrorism are also encouraged to come.

Please come and invite others with you. Send this message to all those you know in America. Ask your friends to sacrifice one workday to honor those who have sacrificed their lives.

There will be a busses moving from gathering points in front of Coptic churches in the states of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and Delaware.

Gathering starts from 10:00 AM in front of the main gate of the White House. The demonstration continues until 1:00 PM, when a march starts towards the Congress and back again in front of the White House.
