Paris: Attack on Churches—One Coptic—Thwarted

On April 22, France’s Interior Minister Bernard Caseneuve said that a man who was “planning am imminent launch an attack on one or two churches in France’s capital,” Paris, had been arrested.  Some reports state that one of the churches being targeted was Coptic (Coptic churches in Egypt are regularly attacked).  Weapons were found in the apartment of the culprit, described only as a “24-year-old student.”
