Islamists Force Delga Copts to Sign Affidavits Stating Arrested Assailants Are Innocent

Prosecutor-general Hesham Barakat had ordered the detention of 51 men, and an investigating of their involvement in the violence and terrorism witnessed in the village.

The prosecution accused the defendants of several charges, including resisting arrest, possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition, and incitement to murder.
