Copts from Canada and several states in America Demonstrate in front of the White House
The Participants arrived from Canada and a number of US states to demonstrate in front of the White House at ten o’clock in the morning and were welcomed by a well- known researcher, “Magdi Khalil,” who is a board member of Coptic Solidarity. Supporters of Coptic Solidarity and concerned individauls joined the rally.
Mr. Magdi Khalil of Coptic Solidarity helped organize and announced this demonstration in front of the White House today. The event was organized to protest against increasing attacks on Copts in Egypt, especially in Minya. Mr. Khalil described the situation as an official complicity of the Egyptian state in these events to exonerate the perpetrators.
وصل المشاركين من كندا ومن عدد من الولايات الأمريكية للتظاهر أمام البيت الأبيض في الساعة العاشرة صباحاً وكان بإستقبالهم الباحث المعروف، “مجدي خليل” وأعضاء منظمة التضامن القبطي وفروعها بالعالم
وكانت منظمة “التضامن القبطي”، والناشط مجدي خليل قد أعلنوا عن تظاهرة أمام البيت الأبيض اليوم إحتجاجاً علي الأعتداءات علي الأقباط في مصر وخاصة في محافظة المنيا وسط ما وصفه بتواطئ رسمي للدولة أمام تلك الأحداث لتبرئة الجناة.
