Civil Society Organizations Submit Suggestions for Egypt’s Presidential Electoral Law

A number of civil society organizations, including the Ibn Khaldoun Center for Development Studies and the Egyptian Organization for Human Rights, also banded together to present suggestions on efforts to observe the upcoming elections.

The group hopes to address issues related to electoral monitoring by cooperating with the Electoral Commission and the National Council for Human Rights. The director of the Egyptian Association for Community Participation Advancement mentioned that the requests act to stop issues related to electoral monitoring of the 2014 constitutional referendum preemptively.
